Resin Pieces/Coasters
Disclaimer
All Resinio pieces are handmade with love, passion and dedication. No two pieces are identical and this reinforces what Resinio is about. You may find some resin pieces may have minor imperfections and/or bubbles. Please understand that this is completely normal and is out of our control. We do however try our best to minimise this to the best as we can. At Resinio, we believe these makes each piece something extraordinary and unique. Upon sending products out to customers, our team inspect and photograph each item and product, as well as, packaging to ensure quality control. If for whatever reason, you do have any issues or problems, please email us first with your enquiry and we will try our upmost best to help you.
Please be aware that each product photos are produced in studio environment and lighting, thus, when you receive your item, these may slightly look different to our photos.
Can I Put Boiling Cups On My Resin Coasters?
Absolutely not. Resin is a form of plastic and thus copious amounts of heat can damage them. Our resin coasters are up to 60 Degrees Celsius heat resistant. This is perfect for a cup of tea. Our pieces are mainly for décor or art purposes. However, they can also be used for practical use. Thus, we urge to handle with care. Please avoid putting very hot/boiling objects on your resin coasters/trays/pieces as this can ruin them, we are not responsible for customers failing to follow care instructions leading to their pieces getting ruined.
When Can I Start Using My Resin Coasters?
Resin is fully chemically cured after 21 days. Although we aim to make and ship your coasters as soon as we can, we recommend you wait at least 14-21 days before you place any hot objects (not too hot) on your coasters to ensure the curing process is complete.
How Do I Clean My Resin Pieces?
Please be gentle when cleaning your resin pieces to avoid damage and scratches. Please always use a soft microfibre cloth, lukewarm water and any gentle glass cleaner when cleaning your pieces.
Do not use any abrasive products to clean your pieces. For ring plates (and anything with paint work and gilding) gently wipe the gilded edge to avoid scratches and damaging the paint work. Although this has been sealed, the use of any abrasive and/or harsh products can cause damage.
How Do I Get Ring Of Ring Marks On My Coasters?
Run coasters under hot/lukewarm water for 10-30 and then wipe with a soft microfibre cloth. The warm water may cause the coaster / resin piece to be soft and bendy. However, this is completely normal. Just place the coaster on a level surface and it will go back to its normal solid state.
What Do I Do If My Coasters Are Stuck Together?
If the environment is too cold, this can cause resin pieces to stick together. If this occurs, simply run them under some warm water for a few seconds and when it is warm enough, pull them apart so they separate.
If your coasters are kept in a cold environment, you can place a piece of cloth/tissue paper/baking paper between each paper to keep them separated.
My Resin Piece Is Not How I Imagined Or Does Not Match The Picture?
Please email us if there is any specific design/colour you wanted before placing the order and we will do our best to match this as closely as possible and make your vision come to life. Here at Resinio we add our own twist to our items, therefore, replications of other items cannot be identical or exact. Ultimately each piece is unique and cannot be recreated identically to another piece that has already been created.
The pieces may not look identical to the photos on the website due to various factors. For example, the lighting, studio environment, editing and the resolution.
Due to the bespoke nature of Resinio, we do not offer refunds for any product unless a mistake has been made on our side. Please email us with your query and a full investigation will be launched.
I Already Placed My Order But Wanted To Make Some Changes?
If any mistake has been made when placing your order or if you simply want to make a change or ask some questions, please email us with your order number as soon as possible (within the first 24-36 hours) so that we can accommodate and action that change. If you email us too late and beyond the timeframe we suggested, unfortunately there is very little we can do to rectify this. We are not responsible for customers making mistakes/changing their minds once orders have been placed/made/dispatched. Nevertheless, please email us as soon as possible as there is a chance this can be fixed.
Other Information
- Some resin pieces may have sharp edges therefore please take care with handling.
- Keep resin pieces away from direct sunlight to prevent yellowing.
- Resin pieces are not dishwasher safe. Please clean by hand only with warm water/gentle cleaner/soap/microfibre cloth.
- Each resin piece varies when it comes to the thickness and levelling of the product.

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?
Here at Resinio we offer various payment methods to ensure our customers can have a smooth transaction. As of 2021, we have partnered up with Klarna to allow our customers to buy now and pay later. We also offer Stripe payments, to ensure customers with a debit or credit card can make payments (Visa or MasterCard).
Is Buying On Resinio Safe?
Yes! Purchasing on Resinio is safe. Our website is SSL Encrypted, meaning, any online transactions carried out on the website is protected. Furthermore, we work with the leading payment merchants to ensure a smooth, safe and easy purchase process.

How Do I Place An Order?
If you wish to place an order, please head over to the “Shop” page and browse through our selection of products. Add the product that you wish to purchase and checkout by clicking on the cart icon.
How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?
Unfortunately we do not allow orders to be cancelled once they have been placed. Furthermore, in order to change the order, we would need you to message us through Instagram, Live Chat or Email with your Order ID number and provide us with the information regarding the changes. Any later than 12-24 hours, unfortunately, we cannot issue changes. We also run on a strictly no refund policy as these are all bespoke handmade orders.
Do I Need An Account To Place An Order?
No! We offer our customers the option to make purchases as a guest. However, you can create an account so that you can see your previous orders and make more purchases in the future.
